257 Presiding Officers and Assistant Presiding Officers in Nagar Kurnool district skipped election training classes. Collector Uday Kumar has given them three days to explain their absence or face consequences under the Representation of the People Act, 1951.
The training sessions took place from April 3 to 8 at the District Collectorate for four different assemblies. Due to the high number of absences, Collector Uday Kumar is getting ready to take disciplinary action against those who did not attend.
