Minister Ponnam Prabhakar took part in the Shami Puja at a Shiva temple in Husnabad, organized by the local municipality. He conducted special rituals there and later at the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple.
During the ceremony, he honored three individuals who recently got government jobs. He addressed the crowd, stating that Vijayadashami represents the victory of good over evil. He wished that good always prevails and hoped for prosperity for everyone in Husnabad.
Minister Prabhakar stressed the need for development throughout the Husnabad constituency. He prayed to the Goddess for the government’s strength, beneficial rains, and the well-being of the community. He sent his best wishes for Vijayadashami to the people and mentioned visiting the important Gidde Perumandla temple in the Karimnagar district.
In his speech, the Minister called for all political parties to back the Weaker Sections Bill in the Legislative Assembly. He noted that the previous government had set a 50% limit in the Panchayati Raj Act during special sessions, which the Governor did not approve to remove. Prabhakar encouraged all parties supporting the Legislative Assembly to submit affidavits to the court, confirming their support for increasing reservations for weaker sections.
