Farmers in Jampalli village, located in Dharur Mandal of the Gadwal Constituency, recently faced an unexpected problem. They were blocked from crossing a railway track that separates them from their farmland. Nearly 2,000 acres of land lie beyond the track, and without access, farmers couldn’t reach their fields with tractors, bullock carts, or farming tools.
The sudden restriction left many farmers stuck and worried, especially with the farming season underway. In response, they reached out to their local leader, MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, for help.
The MLA quickly visited the village to assess the situation. He spoke with local farmers and confronted railway officials on-site. After seeing the issue for himself, he criticized the decision to block access, calling it unfair and harmful to farmers’ livelihoods.
He urged the railway department to show more understanding and work with the community. The MLA stressed that farmers must be allowed to reach their own land, especially during the critical growing season.
After the discussions, railway authorities agreed to take action. They promised to create a special pathway next to the track. This new route will allow farmers to move freely and continue their work without interruption.
The announcement brought relief to the villagers. Community members, including senior leader Venkateshwar Reddy, local residents, and railway officials, were present during the visit.
Thanks to MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy’s swift intervention, the issue was resolved quickly. His actions highlighted the importance of responsive leadership and support for rural communities.
