Wanaparthy District: On Wednesday, a health camp called Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar began at the Primary Health Center in Ghanpur Mandal Center. This event, organized by the Medical Health Department, was launched with District Collector Adarsh Surabhi.
The campaign focuses on providing medical services for women at the center. Officials reviewed services ward by ward.
Legislators emphasized the importance of women’s health for societal progress. The central government, through this program, will offer medical tests for women of all ages until October 2 at all primary and community health centers. The Prime Minister will virtually launch this initiative at 11:40 am nationwide. A specialist doctor will visit daily to conduct tests and provide treatment.
The state government is also providing special funds for medical and educational facilities. In Wanaparthy, funds will enhance education and medicine.
Nagarkurnool MP Mallu Ravi announced a new city scan center funded by Union Bank for Rs. 2.5 crore. Solipur village will soon have a 6-bed medical hospital due to its size and lack of nearby health facilities. A temporary medical center will be set up in a school room until a permanent building is constructed.
District Collector Adarsh Surabhi encouraged rural women to utilize the program to address women’s health issues. Regular treatments like fever and cold are available at primary centers, but for 12 days, a medical college professor will offer specialized examinations and treatment. Experts will address issues such as cancer, ENT problems, dental care, TB, and diabetes. A health profile will be given to women by the district medical department.
The District Medical Health Officer will announce the schedule so the public knows which specialist visits each day from September 17 to October 2. This schedule will be published in newspapers.
Dr. Srinivasulu, Dr. Chaitanya, Superintendent Dr. Ranga Rao, Single Window Director Saicharan Reddy, other doctors, and community members attended the program.
