Warangal: Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy stated that, unlike the previous BRS Government, the Congress is committed to helping the distressed sections of society. He made these remarks while laying foundation stones for several developmental projects in the 10th Division of the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) on Saturday. Naini emphasized that the Congress Government will keep all its promises made before the elections.
Naini also pointed out that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is equally focused on both welfare and development. He mentioned that after the Congress Government issued ration cards, Indiramma Houses, and Aarogyasri health cards between 2004 and 2014, no one showed any interest in continuing these welfare programs for the people.
Highlighting the importance of health and education, Naini said the Congress Government is giving top priority to these sectors. He added that they are preparing to provide digital health cards for families to improve healthcare access.
Regarding local issues, Naini said that the construction of side drains will be carried out in all divisions. He also warned contractors and officials that strict action will be taken if the quality of work is not maintained.
Later, the MLA laid the foundation stone for a community hall and a compound wall at Gurudwara in the 9th Division. He also offered prayers at the Gurudwara. Congress Floor Leader in the GWMC Thota Venkateshwarlu and Corporator Chikati Sharada Anand were also present at the event.
