A student from Myanmar tragically died after being bitten by a snake at Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

The student, named Kondanna, was studying Buddhism at the university. He had gone into the campus bushes to collect mushrooms when he was bitten by a venomous snake, known locally as “raktapinjaram” (red-headed krait).

Although his fellow students quickly took him to the hospital, Kondanna sadly passed away on the way. University officials have informed his family in Myanmar about the tragic event. Kondanna’s body has been taken to a local hospital for further medical procedures.
