In Nelakondapalli (Palair), former MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy spoke at the Muslim leader Athmeeya Sammelanam. He emphasized the Congress party’s dedication to helping Minority communities. Reddy stated that Congress and Muslims are closely linked, with Congress being synonymous with Muslims. He mentioned that while other parties have not made specific commitments to Minority groups, Congress has not only made such promises but has also received strong support from Minorities across the State. Reddy also remembered the late YS Rajsekhar Reddy’s efforts to support Minority groups during his time as Chief Minister.
Reddy expressed his disappointment with the current BRS government led by CM KCR. He accused the government of neglecting the welfare needs of Minority communities for the past nine years.
