A nursing student died in a private paramedical college in Bhadrachalam town, leading to tension at the college. The student, P Karunya (18), was found unconscious with a head injury and later died in the hospital.

Relatives and students of the deceased staged a protest at Maruthi Paramedical College, demanding justice for Karunya’s family. The protesters tried to attack the college chairman, but police intervened to prevent any violence.

The family suspects foul play, believing that someone may have assaulted Karunya in the hostel and pushed her from an upper floor. Police are investigating the case and have completed the autopsy of the student’s body at the government hospital.
