Hyderabad: People who walk in Public Gardens held a protest on Thursday. They asked the State government to improve the basic facilities in the park.

Around 300 people visit the 150-year-old garden every morning. However, the park does not have enough seating, clean washrooms, or an open gym. Although there was a plan to build a gym, it has not moved forward.

Most of the walkers are senior citizens. They said it is hard for them to use the park without proper facilities. Many of them come to the garden to stay healthy, but the lack of basic comforts makes it difficult.

The walkers requested the government to provide the same kind of facilities that are available in other parks in Hyderabad. They want the garden to be a safe and comfortable place for everyone.
