Consultant pulmonologist Dr M Rajeev Naik has been appointed as a co-opted member by the Telangana State Medical Council. This decision was made during the council’s general body meeting on February 7. The TSMC chairman, Dr Mahesh Kumar, issued the appointment orders for co-opted members, which included Rajeev Naik. Dr Rajeev will serve as a co-opted member of the finance committee.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr Rajeev thanked everyone who supported his election as a Telangana State Medical Council (co-option) member. He stated that he is delighted to be given this post in recognition of his contribution to public health and the society of doctors. Dr Rajeev sees this position as an opportunity to take on more responsibility and work towards improving public health and the doctors’ society.
