Rashtrapati Nilayam, which was opened to the public on Ugadi, will now be open year-round except during the President’s South India tour. Government school students will also have free entry for a limited period, with the President directing officials to allow this. While Indian nationals will be charged Rs 50 for registration, foreign nationals will be charged Rs 250. The Rashtrapati Nilayam officials have urged government schools and junior college managements to take advantage of the free entry opportunity for students in classes 12 and below. The heritage property is open from 10 am to 5 pm with last entry at 4 pm, except on Mondays and public holidays. Online bookings are available through the official website or visitors can book tickets on the spot by scanning a QR code. The premises include an art gallery, an underground tunnel, and various gardens.
