Hyderabad’s Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, has set a deadline of June 4 to create a Disaster Management Plan for Greater Hyderabad to deal with flood issues during the upcoming monsoon season. He warned officials of strict action if Hyderabad’s reputation is damaged.

To prepare for the rainy season, the Chief Minister held a meeting with various department officials at Central Command Station in the city. The goal is to have a system that operates year-round, not just during the monsoon.
