Mahabubnagar: In Jataprolu village, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy received immense support from thousands of women and girls. He promised to lead the state for the next 20 years, aiming to transform Palamuru into a hub of development and empowerment.
While addressing a large gathering in Kollapur constituency, he stated, “Palamuru has turned from a subject of ridicule to one that inspires envy.” He emphasized the importance of women’s support and blessings for his two-decade leadership.
CM Revanth Reddy highlighted his government’s initiatives to empower women. Over ₹344 crore in interest-free loans have been distributed to more than 3.5 lakh self-help groups. Women have taken charge of petrol stations, solar plants, and school management. “We are not just assisting; we are nurturing women entrepreneurs,” he said.
He also showcased achievements in agriculture and welfare. The government waived ₹21,000 crore in farmer loans and distributed ₹9,000 crore under Rythu Bharosa in just nine days. Telangana now ranks first in rice production, with 2.85 crore metric tonnes produced annually.
The CM proudly mentioned several initiatives: 200 units of free electricity, free bus travel for girls, a ₹200-crore Young India Integrated Residential School on 25 acres in Jataprolu, and the unique completion of a caste census and SC classification. “We secured 42% reservation in local bodies. By 2035, Telangana will be a one-million-dollar economy led by women,” he announced.
Reflecting on his rural roots, Revanth said, “As a son of Kondareddypalli, I understand rural challenges. Every scheme is grounded in reality.” He reaffirmed his vision to make Telangana a beacon of inclusive development and social justice.
