Telangana CM Seeks PM's Support for State's Development Projects

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to support Telangana’s development initiatives, aiming to make the state a key contributor to India’s goal of becoming a five trillion-dollar economy by 2047. The Chief Minister made this appeal while virtually addressing the inauguration of the Cherlapalli Railway Terminal by the Prime Minister. He expressed gratitude to the Union government for completing the new terminal and shared the state’s vision to transform Telangana into a “One Trillion Dollar GDP economy state.”

Highlighting the importance of railway development for the nation’s growth, Revanth Reddy emphasized how Telangana relies on an efficient rail network. He requested the Centre’s cooperation in constructing a greenfield highway and a direct railway network to connect Hyderabad with Bandar Port, which he described as essential for boosting the state’s connectivity and economy.
