Hyderabad: The three-day youth summit, called “Rising with Kindness,” ended successfully on Sunday. It was held at Kanha Shanti Vanam, the Heartfulness headquarters, located near Hyderabad.
Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao praised the youth for participating in this important event. He also appreciated Daaji and his team for their dedication to spreading kindness. The Minister said that in a world full of competition, it is important to remember values like kindness, empathy, and respect. These values are key to building a peaceful society and helping young people grow.
Krishna Rao mentioned that India has the largest population of Gen Z and millennials. He explained that these young people are the driving force behind social and environmental progress. He encouraged them to practice kindness, quoting the Dalai Lama: “Be kind whenever possible; it is always possible.”
The Minister also talked about the connection between kindness and tourism. He said that kindness helps people from different cultures connect and share stories. He highlighted that Telangana, with its rich culture, history, and natural beauty, stands out because of its kindness. “Rising with Kindness” strengthens the state’s hospitality and reflects India’s idea of unity in diversity. He also said that sustainable development is the only way forward, and kindness is a sign of strength. He praised Daaji for his exceptional work.
Daaji, the guide of Heartfulness, shared his thoughts on the summit. He said the three days were truly special.
He emphasized the importance of nourishing our spiritual selves through meditation. He compared spirituality to science, where people explore the true nature of God. Daaji said that personal experience is more powerful than knowledge. According to him, meditation improves all aspects of life. He added that people should move beyond religion, as it has often caused division, and work toward creating a world full of spiritually enlightened individuals.
