Former Ministers Sabita Indra Reddy and Satyavathi Rathode recently visited BRS MLC Kavitha in Tihar Jail, where she is being held for the Delhi Liquor Scam. The ministers traveled to Delhi to show their support for Kavitha during this difficult time.
It has been revealed that BRS working president, KTR, along with other family members such as KCR, have been keeping in touch with Kavitha regularly. They speak to her over the phone, and Kavitha’s husband Anil visits her in jail twice a week. The family members have been maintaining daily communication with Kavitha to offer their support.
Kavitha has been in Tihar Jail for the past 80 days since her arrest by ED officials on March 15 in connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy money laundering case. After spending 10 days in ED custody, she was moved to judicial custody by Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court on March 26. The court has extended Kavitha’s judicial custody multiple times, with the most recent extension being for another 14 days.
