Hyderabad is expected to be hot and humid with no rain for the next 5-7 days. Strong heatwave conditions are predicted to continue in Telangana. Heavy to moderate rains have caused damage to crops and property in some parts of Hyderabad and Telangana districts. A storm that lasted for 40 minutes on Friday evening caused destruction in Rangareddy District, affecting Chinna Chilakamarri and Pedda Chilakamarri villages. Trees were uprooted, power poles collapsed, and roofs were destroyed. Poultry farms also suffered substantial losses due to the storm.

Businesses in Shadnagar town faced significant losses due to heavy rainfall. Sai Teja Automobiles reported a loss of five lakh rupees, while Devi Travels faced damages worth around four lakh rupees. There was a lack of proper drainage in the area, contributing to the loss of merchandise and assets. Business owners are calling for municipal authorities to prioritize the improvement of the drainage system in Shadnagar town to prevent similar incidents in the future.
