The Ministry of Defence has reopened five roads in Secunderabad Cantonment Board due to public demand. The roads had previously been closed for security reasons, but locals want uninterrupted access without any restrictions. They are also requesting that important buses be reinstated to make commuting easier. The Secunderabad Cantonment Citizen’s Welfare Association is calling for a medium-term plan to widen and strengthen all roads in the area to support the development of northern parts of the city. This would create more opportunities for growth in the area.
