Every year on Sri Ramanavami, Rama’s Kalyanam is celebrated grandly at the Sri Sitarama Swamy Temple in Nagarkurnool district. The temple has a special history. This year, Seetharamula’s Kalyan was conducted at the Seetharamaswamy temple premises.
The event was attended by MLA Koochukulla Rajesh Reddy, High Court Judge Madhavi Latha couple, and MLC Koochukulla Damodar Reddy as chief guests. A large crowd gathered to witness the ceremony. Strict arrangements were made by officials for Sitaram’s wedding.
Students from Sri Saraswati Shishu Mandir participated in the event dressed up as characters like Sita, Rama, Lakshmana, and Hanuman, impressing the devotees.
