Wanaparthy – To help people stay cool during the scorching summer, water stalls have been set up across Pebbair town. These stalls aim to provide free drinking water to visitors and locals alike.
The initiative comes under the leadership of the Pebbair Municipal Commissioner and is managed by the Pebbair Market Protection Committee along with the Sri Venugopala Swamy Land Protection Committee.
Many people travel from nearby villages to Pebbair for daily work, shopping, or business. These water stalls are especially helpful for them during the hot weather.
Three key locations in the town now have these stalls: near the bus stand, at Subhash Chowrasta, and at Kollapur Khamaan Chowrasta. These are busy areas where people often gather or pass through.
The stalls were officially opened in the presence of Municipal Commissioner Ashok Reddy, Market Yard Vice Chairman Eddula Vijayavardhan Reddy, members of the temple committee, various contractors, market committee members, and local leaders from different political groups.
This public service move has been welcomed by the community as a thoughtful step towards helping people beat the summer heat.
