District Collector B.M. Santosh visited a local urban residential school to check sanitation measures and prevent mosquito breeding. During the visit, he inspected the school facilities, interacted with students, and joined their lessons.
Santosh stressed the need for special classes to support students who are struggling in their studies. He also emphasized the importance of students being proficient in both English and Telugu for academic success.
The residential school serves 123 students from below the poverty line, including orphans. The school’s warden assured the Collector of efforts to provide nutritious meals, maintain proper sanitation, and control mosquitoes. Ongoing initiatives are in place to ensure the well-being of the students.
Following the visit, Santosh instructed officials to focus on improving sanitation and building necessary bathroom facilities for the students. The visit reaffirmed the commitment to creating a safe learning environment for all students.
District Education Officer Indira, MEO Suresh, District Coordinator Easter Rani, and the Hostel Warden were present during the visit. The proactive approach taken by the Collector is expected to greatly improve the educational and living conditions at the school.
