Collector Orders Transparent Surveys for Government Schemes

Collector Venkatesh Dhotre has instructed officials to conduct surveys for implementing government schemes in a transparent and fair manner. On Thursday, officials visited Ankusapur village in Asifabad mandal to identify eligible beneficiaries for various schemes, including Rythu Bharosa, ration cards, and Atmiya Bharosa.

The Collector emphasized that the surveys must be carried out with integrity. He specifically directed officials not to include details of uncultivable lands under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, ensuring only eligible farmers benefit from the program.

For the ration card scheme, officials were asked to go door-to-door to record family details accurately. This approach aims to ensure that only deserving households receive the benefits without any discrepancies.

Under the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa scheme, families who worked at least 20 days in the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) during the financial year 2023-24 should be identified. The Collector instructed officials to create a list of such families, particularly focusing on landless agricultural laborers and underprivileged individuals. This list will be submitted to village councils for approval.

Additionally, the survey process related to Indiramma housing was reviewed in Sandeep Nagar under Asifabad Municipality. The Collector examined the progress of these surveys to ensure proper implementation of housing benefits.
