    The Commissioner’s task force and Bandlaguda police are conducting raids in Pahadishareef, Shaheen Nagar, and nearby areas to catch suspects involved in the murder of social activist Shaik Sayeed Bawazir. Bawazir was allegedly killed at an office on Bandlaguda Road. Three people have been detained so far in connection with the murder. The City Police Commissioner has instructed the Task Force to thoroughly investigate the case. Police teams are also searching for suspects in other cities and towns based on information received.

    Bawazir’s funeral took place at Barkas playground, with many people attending the prayers and procession. His body was laid to rest at the Barkas graveyard on Errakunta Road. Bawazir gained attention for making videos on social media about civic issues in the Jalpally municipality. He had been previously attacked for highlighting certain issues.

    A day before his murder, Bawazir released a video stating that he was receiving threatening calls and messages. In their police complaint, his family named Jalpally municipality chairman Abdullah Sadi, AIMIM leader Ahmed Sadi, Ibrahim Bin Khalifa, and other local leaders. The family of Ahmed Sadi has also accused the police of harassment, claiming that they have been subjected to late-night raids.
