In Hyderabad, Mallu Ravi, the convener for the Telangana Congress MPs, predicted a complete loss for the BRS in the upcoming local body elections. He called on the public and media to closely listen to what BRS leaders are saying.
During a press meeting at Gandhi Bhavan, the Nagarkurnool MP criticized BRS leaders K T Rama Rao and T Harish Rao for their comments against Congress. He found it ironic that BRS leaders talked about morals, accusing the party of misusing public funds during their rule. He warned that if BRS stays in power for another decade, the state might regress by 50 years.
Ravi mocked the BRS leaders, suggesting they should give up their hopes of regaining power in Telangana.
“They scored zero in the parliamentary elections. They will surely get zero in the upcoming local body elections too,” he stated confidently.
As the Chairman of the PCC’s Disciplinary Action Committee, Mallu Ravi advised people and media to be cautious of BRS’s political tactics. He emphasized that BRS leaders should act as a constructive opposition, appreciating the efforts of the Congress government. He encouraged citizens to back the transformative initiatives of the Praja Palana government in the state.
