Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy are in New Delhi today to attend a high-level NITI Aayog Governing Council Meeting at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan. The event will wrap up by 4 PM.
This marks a significant moment for Telangana, as it’s the first time since 2018 that a state CM is participating in this key national meeting. Revanth Reddy will present the ambitious “Telangana Rising 2047” plan. This long-term vision aims to boost infrastructure, ensure effective governance, and seek central government support to transform Telangana into a developed state by 2047.
At the same meeting, Chandrababu Naidu will share his developmental agenda for Andhra Pradesh. His focus will include critical issues like population growth, river interlinking, and water resource management. These are pressing national challenges that need collaborative solutions.
Each Chief Minister will get seven minutes to present their plans. Naidu is expected to make the most of his time, outlining clear strategies for growth and reform in his state.
The meeting began with an opening speech by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 10 AM, where he addressed the Chief Ministers and Governors present. His remarks set the tone for what is expected to be a productive session focused on national development.
