The Telangana State Civil Supplies Corporation officials issued a public statement on Sunday, assuring citizens that there are sufficient stocks of petrol, diesel, and LPG gas available across the state. The announcement came in response to growing concerns among consumers, with officials urging the public not to believe rumors or engage in panic buying. The corporation emphasized that the supply chain remains robust and uninterrupted throughout Telangana.
According to official data released by the corporation, approximately 9,574 kiloliters of petrol and 14,457 kiloliters of diesel are being supplied daily through various filling stations across the state. This amounts to a total of over 24,000 kiloliters of fuel being distributed to motorists every day. The figures demonstrate the steady flow of petroleum products to meet the daily consumption needs of the state’s residents and commercial users.
In addition to liquid fuels, the corporation also provided data on LPG cylinder delivery across Telangana. Over 2.22 lakh LPG cylinders are being delivered to consumers daily throughout the state. This substantial number reflects the corporation’s capacity to maintain regular domestic cooking gas supplies to households across urban and rural areas.
The officials specifically addressed concerns about potential shortages, making it clear that consumers should not fall prey to misinformation circulating through unofficial channels. The statement was aimed at preventing unnecessary hoarding and ensuring that all residents have equal access to essential fuel supplies. The corporation stressed that the existing infrastructure and supply mechanisms are functioning normally without any disruptions.
The Civil Supplies Corporation maintains a network of filling stations and distribution centers across Hyderabad and other districts of the state to ensure uninterrupted supply. The daily consumption figures provided by the officials indicate that the current stock levels are adequate to meet the regular demand patterns without requiring any emergency measures or supply rationing.
