Hyderabad / New Delhi – The Telangana Government is actively helping people returning from troubled border areas. It is using Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi as the main support center for these relief operations.
So far, 126 people have arrived at Telangana Bhavan. Out of these, 91 arrived after midnight. The group includes 50 students from NIT Srinagar, students and teachers from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences, workers from Jammu & Kashmir, and students from Lovely Professional University (LPU) in Punjab.
Among the 126 returnees, 57 have already left for their homes. They received all necessary help before their departure. The rest are still staying at the Bhavan, where they are getting full support.
Each returnee is provided with free meals, shelter, medical care, and transport for their next journey. The relief team is working closely with district officials and central agencies to ensure everyone travels safely and smoothly.
Dr. Gaurav Uppal, the Resident Commissioner, is leading the response efforts. His team is ready to receive more returnees expected by tomorrow morning. All needed arrangements are already in place.
The Telangana Government has pledged to continue this mission until every stranded person is safely back home. It remains focused on protecting and supporting its people during this critical time.
