The Telangana government has reopened online registrations for two important minority welfare schemes following overwhelming demand from eligible beneficiaries. The TGOBMMS portal will remain open from January 5 to January 10, 2026, providing a limited window for applicants to submit their applications. The move comes as part of the state government’s continued efforts to support economically vulnerable sections within minority communities through targeted financial assistance and livelihood support programs.
Under the Indiramma Minority Mahila Yojana, the government is providing a one-time financial grant of ₹50,000 to 5,000 minority women who fall under specific vulnerable categories. The scheme specifically targets widows, orphans, destitute women, single women, and divorcees from minority communities. This direct financial assistance aims to provide economic security and help these women achieve financial independence or start small income-generating activities to support themselves and their families.
The second scheme focuses on the Rehabilitation of Muslim Fakheer, Dudekula, and Vulnerable Muslim Communities. This program provides mopeds to eligible beneficiaries as a means of livelihood support. The two-wheeler assistance is designed to help beneficiaries engage in income-generating activities such as delivery services, transportation, or other self-employment opportunities. The provision of mopeds removes a significant barrier to employment and entrepreneurship for economically disadvantaged community members.
Eligible beneficiaries interested in applying for either scheme can access the online application portal at tgobmmsnew.cgg.gov.in. The government has urged all eligible applicants to complete their registrations before the deadline of January 10, 2026. The reopening of the portal for a five-day window demonstrates the state’s responsiveness to public demand and its commitment to ensuring maximum coverage of welfare schemes for minority communities across Telangana.
