Minister Vivek Venkataswamy recently spoke in Siddipet about the Congress government's dedication to helping the poor. At Konda Bhudevi Garden, he announced that each Indiramma house will receive Rs. 5 lakhs, with 12,000 houses approved for the Siddipet district. The goal is for every village to benefit from the Indiramma housing scheme, initially started by Indira Gandhi to fight poverty.

He highlighted that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Rahul Gandhi have introduced measures like providing 200 units of free electricity to support low-income families.

In efforts to uplift the poor, Minister Venkataswamy distributed housing documents and shared plans for skill development programs using modern technology in Siddipet. Although some doubt the government’s ability to deliver on its promises, he assured that they would keep their word.

He also detailed other welfare programs, including Rs. 500 gas cylinders and free bus services for women. The government has approved a massive Rs. 23,000 crores loan waiver for farmers, the largest in India, and released Rs. 10,000 crores for farmer insurance. The Rajiv Arogya Sri scheme now provides up to Rs. 10 lakhs in health coverage, and farmers growing sorghum receive a Rs. 500 bonus.
