    The police in Hyderabad solved a theft case at two temples in Habeeb Nagar police station limits within an hour. The accused, Sunil Chawan, had stolen silver ornaments worth 70 grams and cash of Rs. 36,650, totaling Rs. 60,000. The police received a call at 6:30 am on Thursday about the theft of cash and damage to an idol at Kattamaisamma Temple in Habeeb Nagar. Inspector S Saida Babu and his team reached the temple and identified Sunil Chawan using CCTV footage. The video was shared with the Nampally police station, and the accused were apprehended within an hour. A case was booked against them under section 457, 380 IPC.

    According to the police, Sunil Chawan is 35 years old and a habitual house burglar from Umla Naik Thanda in Vikarabad. The accused broke open the lock of Sri Kanakadurga Temple on the night of May 23-24 and stole Rs. 3000 from the hundi. On the night of May 24-25, he broke open the lock of Sri Kattamaisamma Temple and stole Rs. 36,150 and silver ornaments of 70 grams from the hundi.

    The police recovered all the stolen property, and the accused are in custody. The Habeeb Nagar Police have solved several cases of theft in recent times, and the quick action in this case has demonstrated their commitment to maintaining law and order in the area.
