The BRS and BJP are having a war of words leading up to the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, made some strong comments against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his government, as well as stating that the BJP would do away with Muslim reservations. The BRS chief plans to respond to these comments and expose how the BJP-led Central government has harmed the country in a public meeting on Monday at Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad). The BRS is also expecting about 50 corporators to join their party at this meeting.

To make the meeting successful, BRS leaders have been working to decorate the city with pink flags and hoardings explaining BRS schemes like Mission Kakatiya, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, etc. MLA A Jeevan Reddy and MP BB Patil have been overseeing the arrangements for the meeting. The BRS is getting good response from people in the Marathwada region, where many farmers’ suicides have occurred. They plan to move forward with their slogan ‘Abki Baar Kisan Sarkar’.
