Hyderabad: The 20th annual Brahmotsavams at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Himayathnagar will take place from June 3 to 7. The festivities will start with ‘Ankurarpanam’ on June 2.
TTD Assistant Executive Officer Ramesh introduced a handbook about the Brahmotsavams during a temple meeting on Friday. He announced that the Brahmotsavams will commence on June 3 with ‘Dhwajarohanam’ happening between 6:30 am and 8:45 am under the ‘Midhuna lagnam’.
Following the ‘Dhwajarohanam’, the deity will be paraded on the Shesha Vahanam. Later that day, at 8 pm, another procession will occur on the Sri Hanumantha Vahanam. On June 4, a morning procession on the Suryaprabha Vahanam is planned.
On June 5, the Gaja Vahanam procession will start at 10 am, and in the evening, the Garuda Vahanam procession will take place at 8 pm.
June 6 will feature a morning chariot procession, followed by an evening procession on a horse. Annaprasadam will be served to devotees every morning, afternoon, and evening at the temple.
