Hyderabad hosted a major medical event, the ENT Conclave-2025, focused on the theme “Hearing Today, Leading Tomorrow.” The two-day conference brought together experts to explore the latest trends in ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) care, surgical techniques, and medical technology.
The event was organized by Omega Hospitals, the Association of Otolaryngologists of India (AOI), Hyderabad Branch, and the Telangana State Medical Council (TSMC). It took place over the weekend and drew more than 175 participants from across India and abroad.
Attendees included leading doctors, postgraduate students, and health professionals. They gathered to share knowledge, discuss innovations, and learn from hands-on training sessions.
Dr. Vennela Devarakonda spoke about the newest developments in Coblation Technology, a method used to treat various ENT conditions with less tissue damage. She also introduced her own techniques and stressed the value of structured training programs for young doctors and medical students.
Another highlight was a presentation by Dr. Radha Madhab Sahu, a well-known ENT surgeon from Bhubaneswar. He discussed the use of ICG dye in endoscopic skull base surgery, a method that improves visibility during complex operations.
Other prominent doctors, including Dr. Mohana Vamsy, Dr. Sampath Chandra Prasad—a specialist in lateral skull base surgery from Bangalore—and Dr. Vidyasagar, also took part in the event.
The conclave served as a platform for sharing cutting-edge research and offered valuable learning experiences for upcoming ENT professionals.
