Mahabubabad, Khammam: On Saturday, Vaddiraju Ravichandra, Deputy Leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Parliamentary Party and Rajya Sabha MP, unveiled a statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar in Singaram village, Bayyaram Mandal, Mahabubabad district. The event included floral tributes and coconut offerings, with enthusiastic participation from locals and party supporters.
Ravichandra mentioned the recent erection of Ambedkar’s bronze statue in his hometown, Inugurthi, expressing his honor in unveiling another one in Singaram. He highlighted that their leader, KCR, constructed the state’s impressive secretariat, naming it after Ambedkar. KCR also requested the central government to dedicate the new Parliament building in Delhi to Ambedkar.
Ravichandra addressed a recent incident in Lingampet, Kamareddy district, where a Dalit BRS worker was reportedly mistreated by police. He noted that KTR personally visited the worker’s home, showing support by dining with the family.
He confidently predicted that the BRS would regain power within three years, advising Congress leaders, officials, and police officers to act wisely, as political power is temporary.
