Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao is calling for strict action against those involved in the phone tapping scandal. He criticized the government for tapping phone calls of politicians and businessmen over the past decade and urged for a thorough investigation to identify the true masterminds behind the illegal activity.

In a statement to the media in New Delhi, VH also asked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to look into the seized assets of gangster Mohammad Nayeemuddin, known as Nayeem. Nayeem had accumulated properties and large sums of money, which were discovered after his death.
