Hyderabad Water Board Fixes Pipeline Leakage at Mozamjahi Market

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Water Department quickly fixed a major water leak on Sunday at Mozamjahi Market in the Red Hills area. The leak happened in a 350 mm wide pipeline during water supply operations.
Officials from the Water Board O&M Division No 4 found the leakage early and acted fast. They wanted to make sure that water supply was not affected for about 700 houses in nearby areas like Malakunta Road, Risala Abdullah, Osmanganj, Shankarbagh, and Top Khana.
To avoid any interruptions, the team decided to repair the pipeline immediately. Thanks to their quick work, residents did not face major water shortages.
Ashok Reddy, the Managing Director of the Hyderabad Water Board, said, “We solved the leakage problem and restored the supply.”
The department assured that they are working hard to maintain smooth water distribution across the city.
