Hyderabad: The water supply in several areas of the city will be disrupted for 24 hours, from September 23 to 24. This is due to ongoing repair work being carried out by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) at Prashasan Nagar.
HMWSSB officials explained that the 1200 mm diameter PSC gravity main pipeline, which runs from Prashasan Nagar to Ayyappa Society under Krishna Phase-3, has developed leaks in multiple locations. This pipeline is responsible for supplying drinking water to Hyderabad.
As a result, repair work is currently underway to fix these leaks. Because of this, there will be no water supply in areas like Golconda, Tolichowki, Jubilee Hills, Film Nagar, and Gachibowli until 6 am on September 24.
