The Governor of Haryana, Bandaru Dattatraya, praised the UDAN scheme of the Indian Government. He hopes that more remote districts in the country can be connected by air through this scheme. Governor Dattatraya spoke as the chief guest at the Wings India 2024 concluding ceremony, which is Asia’s largest Civil Aviation Expo.
He also expressed his wish for air travel to become more affordable and accessible to the common people of India. During his interaction with the Saarang team of the Indian Air Force, he praised their efforts along with Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. He emphasized the need to develop and produce more aircraft in India.
