Youth encouraged to reject drugs as three-day anti-drug campaign concludes.

A three-day Anti-drug State wide awareness campaign ended in Hyderabad. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and addiction. The Telangana State Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TSNAB) and the Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Senior Citizens, and Transgender Persons (DWCDS) jointly organized the campaign. The youth actively participated in workshops, dialogues, and visual content to spread the message about the negative consequences of drug abuse.

Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali commended the services of the TSNAB and the state police. Actress Krithi Shetty addressed the youth and shared that good friends never force you to try drugs. DGP Anjani Kumar, CV Anand, and other dignitaries urged the youth to ‘Saynotodrugs’ through impactful speeches. Additionally, renowned artists showcased their talents to contribute to the awareness campaign.

The campaign left an indelible impact on the community. Mahmood Ali also presented awards to the winners and teams of TSNAB and DWCDS and released a book on this occasion.
