In Hyderabad, a group of Zomato delivery workers gathered in Uppal on August 5 to voice their concerns. They reported earning less than ₹500 despite working long hours, sometimes up to 14 hours a day.

The workers highlighted the lack of insurance coverage. If they have accidents while on delivery, they must cover medical expenses themselves.

Some workers have been with Zomato for 5 to 6 years, delivering in all weather conditions. They requested that the additional delivery fees charged during rainy days be given to them.
