Mahabubnagar: Social activist Diddi Praveen Kumar is making a significant effort for the upcoming Vinayaka Chavithi on August 27. He leads the Nenu Saitam organization and is distributing pooja materials to 711 ancient temples and Vinayaka mandapams in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka.
Praveen is providing 31 kinds of pooja items for Vinayaka mandapams and 22 types for daily rituals in ancient temples. This initiative covers several Telangana districts: Mahabubnagar, Narayanpet, Wanaparthy, Gadwal, Nagarkurnool, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Rangareddy, and Hyderabad.
The effort extends to Andhra Pradesh, reaching temples in Kurnool, Nandyal, Kadapa, Anantapur, Chittoor, Tirupati, Prakasam, Giddalur, Vijayawada, and Guntur. In Karnataka, temples in Raichur, Sindhanur, and Gulbarga are included, focusing on those popular with Telugu devotees.
Dress code awareness signs are also being placed outside temples to encourage traditional attire. Praveen believes this will boost cultural discipline among worshippers.
This entire program is funded by Praveen himself, without any outside donations. He urges devotees to observe Vinayaka Chavithi with devotion and discipline.
Nenu Saitam members like Kongara Pavan Kumar, Rainbow Srinivas, Tirumala Lakshminarayana, Priya, Satyam, Dastayya, Konduru Srihari, and Ganesh Rao are actively involved in the distribution effort.
