    Hyderabad: Citizens of Telangana now have a convenient way to handle their ticketing needs with the launch of the “Mee Ticket” app. From booking RTC and metro tickets to gaining entry into temples, parks, and tourist destinations, this app eliminates the hassle of waiting in long queues. Developed by the Telangana Department of Electronic Service Delivery (ESD), the app was officially introduced by IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu on Thursday at the Secretariat.

    During the launch, Minister Sridhar Babu explained that the government, under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, is committed to providing effective governance. He emphasized that technology plays a crucial role in making services more accessible for citizens. The app combines various ticketing services into one platform, and the Minister hinted at more such innovative apps in the future to further improve public convenience.

    The “Mee Ticket” app covers a wide range of services. Users can book tickets for 15 popular temples, 129 parks, 54 boating spots, zoos, museums, RTC and metro services, and entertainment zones across Telangana. Additionally, it facilitates bookings for community halls, gyms, and sports complexes within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) area. The app also offers automated recommendations for nearby attractions based on the user’s location, enhancing its usability.

    Minister Sridhar Babu highlighted the app’s user-friendly design and secure payment system, which allows UPI transactions without any extra charges. He pointed out that this single-window platform saves both time and effort for users, making it an efficient solution for diverse ticketing needs.

    The launch event was attended by several dignitaries, including Mee Seva Commissioner Ravi Kiran, Industries Department Commissioner Dr. G Malsur, Zoo Parks Director Dr. Sunil, and other senior officials. The Telangana government aims to revolutionize ticketing and booking services with the “Mee Ticket” app, ensuring they are efficient, accessible, and citizen-friendly.
