The district additional collector in Gadwal, Musini Venkateshwarlu, assured farmers that immediate measures will be taken to procure Rabi paddy from the district without any mistakes. He inspected the procurement centers in Gadwal and Itikyal mandal to ensure everything is in order.
During his visit, Venkateshwarlu mentioned that farmers will be paid the government’s support price if they bring grains to the purchase centers that meet quality standards. He also emphasized the importance of Millers paying special attention to transporting the collected grains from the procurement centers to speed up the process.
Additionally, he instructed the APMC CCs to provide tents and drinking water at the procurement centers for farmers, especially as temperatures rise. Other officials present during the inspection included DAO Govind Nayak, DRDO Narshingh Rao, and others.
