    Hyderabad:
Dr. MCR HRD Institute has started a special foundation course for 231 officers from All-India Services (AIS) and Central Civil Services (CCS). These officers come from various parts of the country and represent 17 different services, including IPS, IFoS, ISS, IES, IPTAFS, and IRS.

The Director-General of the institute, Shashank Goel, gave an inaugural speech. He mentioned that these officers are the backbone of the administrative system. They play a key role in shaping the lives of millions of citizens and, in doing so, help build the future of the nation.

Dr. Goel also stressed that effective governance is about understanding and addressing the needs of the people. He said the course will give officers a strong foundation in policy-making, public administration, and the tools they need to provide better services to the public.

He pointed out that in today’s world, things are constantly changing. For officers to lead this change, they must first be willing to embrace it themselves. They need to adopt a mindset that is open to learning and adapting to new challenges.

Finally, Dr. Goel highlighted that old styles of leadership, which are bureaucratic and rigid, don’t work in today’s evolving work environment. He said that in a diverse and dynamic society, leadership should be inclusive, flexible, and responsive to changing needs.
