Hyderabad – Starting June 2, all Sub-Registrar offices across Telangana will adopt the slot booking system for property registrations. This move follows the successful rollout of the system in 47 locations.

Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy confirmed the expansion on Saturday, stating that the new system will make property registrations faster, more transparent, and free from corruption.

The pilot phase began on April 10 in 22 offices. After seeing positive feedback, the government extended it to 25 more offices on May 12. So far, around 36,000 registrations have been completed using this method, with 94% of users expressing satisfaction.

Now, the system will be introduced in the remaining 97 Sub-Registrar offices. The Minister has instructed officials to prepare for a smooth rollout.

With this system, property buyers and sellers can book time slots online. Available booking times are from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Once a slot is booked, users can log in to the department’s portal to see all required details and updates.

Minister Ponguleti held a review meeting with officials to assess the progress and future plans. He emphasized that these changes are part of wider reforms in the Stamps and Registration Department aimed at saving time and improving service efficiency.

To handle the increased workload, especially in busy offices, the government is hiring extra sub-registrars and staff in nine high-traffic locations.

These reforms are expected to bring long-term benefits by improving service quality and building public trust in the registration process.
