ITDA Project Officer Kushbu Gupta has instructed teachers at ashram schools to improve the quality of education they provide to students.
On Wednesday, she made a surprise visit to the ashram school located in Rebbena mandal. During her visit, she asked school officials about the education, health care, and food being given to the students. She emphasized that students should receive nutritious food every day, according to the planned menu.
Gupta also said that teaching methods should be simple and easy for students to understand. She stressed the importance of taking precautions to stop the spread of diseases like dengue and malaria, which are caused by mosquitoes.
She further instructed that daily cleaning should be done in important areas like the kitchen, store room, toilets, and drinking water facilities to maintain hygiene. To better connect with students, she also taught a lesson in one of the classrooms.
She asked students questions about their subjects and told teachers to make sure every student learns how to read and write. Finally, she looked into the drinking water situation at the Goleti Ashram School, where students are currently using borewell water due to issues with the RO plant.
