Hyderabad: Every year, the L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) observes Children’s Eye Care Awareness Week to inform the public about eye diseases in children. This year, the event is being held from November 7 to November 14.

The theme for this year is “Childhood Cataract.” To raise awareness, an awareness walk was organized on Sunday. The goal of the walk was to educate people about childhood cataracts, how they affect children’s vision, and the importance of early detection and treatment. The walk also encouraged parents to seek medical advice for their children as soon as possible.
