Union Minister Helps Girl Return to School

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, promised to help a young girl return to school. The girl had been working as a laborer in Charlapalli, within the Choppadandi Constituency.

During his visit to Karimnagar Parliamentary Constituency, the minister stopped to lay the foundation stone for new roads in Charlapalli. On his way back, he noticed the girl working by the roadside.

Curious, he halted his convoy and spoke to the girl. He asked why she was working instead of attending school and learned about her family’s financial struggles.

The girl, named Bolla Akshaya, mentioned that she had completed her tenth grade but had to work due to her family’s poor financial situation. She expressed her desire to continue her studies.

Moved by her situation, Bandi Sanjay instructed the district BJP president, Gangadi Krishna Reddy, to gather more information about the girl. He directed Reddy to ensure that Akshaya gets admitted to a college.
