Over 100 Students Protest Against Principal in Gadwal District

The students walked to the District Collector’s office in Gadwal, accusing their school principal of inappropriate behavior. The students made several allegations against the principal. They claimed he sold school seats for money, physically assaulted students without any reason, and verbally abused them. A 20-Kilometer Protest March
The students walked a distance of 20 kilometers from Beechupally to reach the District Collector’s office. Along the way, Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy joined the march when he encountered the students near Veerapuram village. The MLA paused his personal travel to listen to their grievances. He then contacted District Collector B.Y. Santosh Kumar, urging him to take immediate action against the principal. The MLA assured the students that their voices would be heard and asked the Collector to visit the school in person to address their issues.

Support from Mounika Foundation
During the march, the students reportedly had no access to food or water. Seeing their struggles, the Mounika Foundation stepped in to assist. The Foundation’s Chairman, Marlabeedu Huzurappa, and Vice Chairman, Udandapuram Ramesh, distributed biscuits and water packets to over 300 students in front of the Collectorate. They also appealed to the District Collector to provide proper facilities for the students and ensure justice. The Mounika Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to supporting social causes.
