Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu has instructed officials to begin constructing Indiramma houses in Mahabubnagar and Rangareddy districts. These areas are not affected by the election code, making it possible to start the work immediately. The decision aims to speed up the housing project promised by the government.

During a meeting at the State Secretariat, Bhatti reviewed the 2025-26 budget proposals with senior officials from the Revenue, Housing, and I&PR departments. Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Komatireddy Venkata Reddy were also present. He explained that funds have already been allocated to build 3,500 houses in each assembly constituency. The housing project is part of the government’s six guarantees. He also stressed the importance of protecting valuable government lands.

Since the government is encouraging green and pollution-free energy, Bhatti advised officials to install solar power systems on government office buildings. This step will support the state’s commitment to clean energy.
